TENFIVE PHOTOGRAPHY

Hello and Welcome!

I am Sara Curry, owner/photographer at TenFive Photography. Thank you for your interest in me, and my little passion that has quickly become one of my favorite hobbies! The dream for TenFive Photography started in 2015, when my daughter, Layla Jane was born on October 5th (aka: TenFive... see what I did there?). 7 pounds and 10 ounces of sweet baby squish, she became my inspiration to capture all the feelings I experienced in my journey to become a mom all the way through whatever comes next! That inspiration quickly spread for the desire to capture these feelings and special moments of life for others, and TenFive Photography was born.

My husband, Michael and I have planted roots in Belmont, North Carolina. In this old historic mill town, about 12 miles West of Charlotte, we have found our little slice of Heaven and absolutely love it. The proximity to Charlotte, the mountains, the beach and the lake all make for a really convenient location to seek out those perfect little spots for great photos.

As a Labor & Delivery Nurse by trade, I spend the majority of my time in the delivery room, coaching women (and let's be honest, the men too) through one of the most difficult and exciting experiences in life. There is nothing more rewarding than bringing life into the world, and every experience is unique. It can certainly have it's challenges, but this career has been a great foundation for the desire to capture the special moments and little pieces of everyday life. Life happens so fast, and it's so easy to forget the details. It has become a joy to "capture the feels" and create beautiful memories for all of my clients. I look forward to doing the same for you!
